I'm not so sure about that, Builder. Dave's told me something I'd never noticed because I'm so familiar with the Kerry accent.
He says the men are almost un-understandable....but the women speak so very clearly he understands every word.
Well, that's why he speaks to lots of women...he tells me.... :-)

And should you visit us here we'll point you to the best of our five pubs for the best ever pint of Black Custard... In fact you'd be a hit playing in any of the pubs.....x

Nerd that I am, the nearest I've got is to travel the whole of Sneem's (long) main street on Google Streetview.

Have a look at the Story Telling Festival of Sneem. You would love that I know....stories and music. Two years without now but next year...please god as they say here.
Growing up there were thirteen pubs....now we're down to five but not bad for a population of about 290. Great food, music and craic....not to mention the Guinness.....x
