I doubt that there are many people here who're prepared to wear a face mask for two hours, in a socially-distanced cinema, just at the moment. (I'm certainly not but, as it's a quarter of a century since I last went to a cinema, I probably wouldn't have gone anyway).

Most of the critics seem to like it but a few, such as the reviewers for The Telegraph and The Sun, have panned it:

I haven't seen it but know a few who have.
They loved it. A tear jerker, apparently.

I thought a friend of mine said she watched it but wasn't impressed.

Watched on Netflix. Good cast and performances. Grandkids enjoyed it. Hints of Narnia. Interesting take on the origins of Father Christmas
