If next Pension payday is Tuesday 4th January will we get it any earlier as its a BH?

The 4th of January isn't a Bank Holiday, other than in Scotland.

So State Pension payments that are due on the 4th in most of the UK will be made on the 4th, other than in Scotland (where they'll be paid on Friday, 31st December).

I'm not sure about dates. I get paid monthly directly into my bank account and it's always around the 26th of the month. May be earlier/later at this time of year?

The state pension is paid weekly, 4 weekly or 12 weekly. The time of the month will change throughout the year.

mine's on a Thursday which is rarely a BH!

My works pension come on the 1st of the month or the previous working day it the 1st is a w/e or BH.

I get paid weekly Tuesday but this week received it on a Monday. As did my monthly works pension which is not due until 31 December - now that was quick.

My weekly pension day is Monday. I will get it tomorrow as Monday is a bank holiday.

Lankeela, you should actually get yours tomorrow too, as there will be no payouts from Saturday to Tuesday inclusive.
