I cooked a large batch of of fresh minced steak with onions and I froze 3 large portions of it. If I now de-frost and make a minced steak pie can I re-freeze part of it to eat at at later date. My freezer is set to -24 degrees.

Still warm food isn’t recommended to be put in a fridge in a professional setting simply because it raises the temp in the fridge, with all the problems that might cause.
In a domestic setting we all do what we feel is ok..I lick the knife, taste off a spoon, put stuff in the fridge while still warm..because I can, and I don’t run the risk of giving lots of people food poisoning, just me and him, which I never have.
