I am partial to mushroom and emmental too.
I don't think they can sell you one for much less what with the minimum wage and the cost of energy to heat the toaster. Plus a bag to put it in.

I had one larst night. 2 slices of rye bread, freshly sliced ham, and some cheddar cheese. Cooked it slowly in the frying pan, to die for!
If you like horseradish, spread some on one, or both, slices of bread before making your ham and cheese sandwich...It adds a little zest.
I bought a toastie maker for the price of a couple of those. Seems very high indeed.

it must be inflation - cousin went to Strangford last week with her son and they paid £18 each for fish and chips. £36 for two fish suppers. That's the way it is now.
