I’ve cleaned the three sliding mirror wardrobe doors (the bedroom now smells like a chippy, could be worse I suppose) and made a rice pudding.

Need a wet suit and lead weights for a dog walk round here Tilly, good job we got him out earlier.
Pud recipe...clean mirror doors, get totally fed up doing them, give in to thoughts of rice pud which have been on my mind for a week, have a root through cupboards and find some pudding rice..hurrah.., throw ingredients together in bowl, bung in oven and await results.
Skirting boards, skirting boards, are you totally bonkers Sandra?? Who sees dust on skirting boards??? I only realised about two years ago that people hoover lampshades so I now do mine too, well, I look at them and think about hoovering them which is almost as good.

Oh Lordy...yesterday I noticed a fine coating of dust has appeared on the skirting boards in my bedroom...painted last spring. Only because I was moving a small painted stool. I promised myself to quickly forget what I'd seen.
Right now I'm in the middle of framing some National Trust Arts and Crafts postcards in fake copper frames...to hang next to a real copper Arts and Crafts mirror in the hallway.

Whenever I mention the possibility of employing a cleaner, Mr T goes mad for a few days, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning and generally tidying up.

It works every time. ;-)
