Although Paula Vennells seems to be at the forefront of the investigation into what people knew,there is another familiar name implicated as well.Who? why none other than Alan Cook ,he of the botched LV takeover by a private equity company.He was Managaing director from 2006 to 2010 and was chairman of Highways England when smart motorways were being developed.I wonder which company or organisation will be taken in by this man next.

I remember thinking at the time this all happened. Did the Royal Mail not think it strange, that so many Sub Postmasters/Mistresses were all fiddling the books, surely a red flag must have been in question.

I felt so sorry for those that were accused.

This is the worst miscarriage of justice in recent times and a lot of postmasters and postmistresses need to be compensated, and Vennells and Cook and Fujitsu should be prosecuted.
