Pain Patches
13 Answers
Saw GP yesterday about my painful arthritic knee and he prescribed Butec patches, 5 microgram to start and leave on for a week, then 10 microgram for the following weeks.
Can anyone tell me how long it takes before you feel some pain relief please?

Seriously thinking now that I should have the knee replacement that was offered to me a year ago.
Will see how I go on with the stronger patch first.
Thanks for asking x

Bednobs, I find it quicker and easier to contact the secretary's of the consultants I want to see.
I'm waiting for an operation on my hands, so I phoned the sec this morning and she is going to squeeze me in to see him again face to face so he can see how they have deteriorated and I'm also going to phone the orthopaedic sec to say I would like to go back on the list for a knee replacement.
I'm still waiting for the results of an Dexa scan I had in April of last year from the Rheumo specialist nurse, and I've asked her 3 times now.
