Are there any auto-electricians out there? Or can anyone please help me- there is an earth leakage in my rover 214- the battery keeps draining itself and I don't know how to test for it. If it is a short circuit, where are the most common fault places to check? Any advice on this problem?Thanx.

One of the most common causes for batteries draining is an interior light left on - either in the car or in the boot. You need to check that the door switches are switching the light off when closed (which may mean climbing into the boot, hopefully with someone outside to let you out again!)
