If Russia Escalates Its War In Ukraine
President Biden has warned of a “heavy price” to be paid by Russia if it uses chemical or biological weapons.

Assuming that direct NATO military involvement is still ruled out, what do you think the options could or would or should be to exact such a price?

Tell the beleaguered people of Mariupol etc it’s a “silly statement”
I agree it’s a risk but sometimes you have to take risks.
I am, like khandro, intrigued by Iron Dome option. Is it viable? Would that it were.
Someone asked if the UN might impose the no-fly zone (not on AB) and no satisfactory reply was given

At the moment I feel ashamed to be British.
The fact is Russia has invaded an independent country, they have no right to do that.
We have been invited by Ukraine to help them repel that invader on Ukrainian soil, ( not Russian soil).
Putin is inviting Syrian and Belarus forces into that invaded country to help him achieve his goal.
If Putin does takeover Ukraine he will be even more confident to carry on even further. The time to face up to this monster is now. Because the threats that he's made to the west will not be any different the next time round.
The Ukrainians have already dented the Russian invasion, now Nato needs to crush it, or spend the rest of our years in fear.

A refugee train from Kramatorsk to Lviv has been hit by an air strike.
And the latest missile strike has occured at Yavoriv, six miles from the Polish border.
Belarus is interesting: it's likely that Lukashenko does not want to send his forces in and very probable also that Putin doesn't want them either. Most are conscripts, and many of them would very likely surrender or defect if they crossed the border.

According to this British vet. the Russian forces are being "hammered" & the Ukrainians are fighting like the "Taliban on steroids":
