Taksin bought a multi million pound house in London recently, and was generally assumed to be transfering assets out of Thailand as the writing was on the wall (although he was the last to read it).
If his contribution to UK society is the same as to Thailand, he will cause nothing but trouble.

I should hope we would offer sanctuary to a democratically elected leader who has been overthrown by a military coup.
I am very concerned when unelected generals console people by stating 'THEY' will appoint a new leader within two weeks after 'THEY' have made changes to the constitution of Thailand.
The leaders of military coups have a tendency to get a little too comfortable with power and usually find 'reasonable' excuses for staying put. I hope this doesn't prove to be the case in Thailand, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
