.....to all our Irish AB friends and, in particular, to pub landlords throughout the land. Today may go some way to them recovering some revenue from the effects of the Covid pandemic :-)

I used to go to St Patricks' School in Collyhurst, Manchester. March 17th was always special, as the school issued us with shamrock, that we had to wear on our lapels. My grandparents used to recieve shamrock in the post from Ireland, and in the evening, it was off to the Arthur Griffiths Club on the corner of Chapman St and Suddell St (now Nobby Stiles Drive). Happy days!
