Irritation of the month

I try not to get wound up by ads., but the new Renault, with the car as a 'dog' makes me violent! It's the bit where the guy pats his lap to get the car to 'come' to him, and the rear wiper acting as a 'tail' Aaaargh! Anyone else feel like this about this ad., or any other?

I have yet to 'enjoy' the Renault advert andy, but the replacement windows one with Cannon and Ball has exactly the same effect on me. Clever piece of advertising though - I believe they call it 'the irritant factor' so we remember them. Mmmm!!!!

I quite like the Renault ad..... The ones that make me murderous are the "take out a personal loan and your life will be instantly perfect" ones - Ocean Finance for instance. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh, and as mentioned elsewhere on this site, the Yop advert (with the big mouths moving on sleeping faces) makes me come over all peculiar!

Another person that doesn't have an "OFF" button on their TV. Mind you, if you actually bought a Renault you'd find the things the car does in the advert to be commonplace!

The one that annoys me is one for one of those compensation claims company's, it shows a guy falling from a ladder, then he goes on to say that he was 'given the wrong ladder' what the general public are now led to believe is that you dont actually have to 'foot' a ladder like we are all taught during our 3-4 yrs as an apprentice. Have to say that i find the ad VERY missleading and it should be stopped !! OK, i'll get off the soap box now :o)
