The heating came on very briefly...30 minutes. I'd forgotten to turn the timer off. It's not terribly cold here...yet. Southwest...due a temperature drop on April 1. Just in time for the increase. Oh joy. :(

We’ve still got the heating on here. Not my choice. I’d turn it all off now that it’s spring. If the nights get cold, put a jumper on, I say. Husband doesn’t agree.

As I’m still resting my back a lot I’m pretty happy on sofa with a fluffy throw in the day that I’ve got just pulled over me. I never ever have the heating on at night as I can’t bear a hot bedroom - in fact even in the winter I have the fan on.

Doesn't the whirring noise of the fan annoy you Smow? When you have it on in the bedroom I mean. Anywhere else is OK.

As I have storage heaters my lounge one stayed on through the recent mild spell as the forecasters were warning about this cold snap. Takes too long and needs extra to get the temperature up to a safe level starting from cold. It just keeps the room around 14 degrees but it means I only need one warm jumper not two
