There was a chocolate wafer bar with a coating of chopped nuts and chocolate on top called Banjo when I was little. Loved those but think they were discontinued in the early 80s.

Cough candy! We all neded that in the olden days! Together with beef tea, Virol, tar fumes from the tar vats in the cobbled streets, and Uncle Joe's mint balls.
Used to buy a bar on the way home from mass, and also bought a penny ice-lolly and a small bottle of orange squash to mix up a v chilly sweet drink to help get over the pre-communion fastin.
