Had rectal bleeding (as reported previously) over 2 1/2 week period (everyday)
So far had scan, bloods and waiting for sigmoidoscapy.
Bleeding returned for one day only.
Not unduly worried, but would like to know why I keep on having episodes
of bleeding from my arris??

Getting fed up of GP firking up my behind!
Previously had polyps cut out and internal piles cautererised
in the past

Just dont know why I have had 30 years plus of rectal bleeding on and off?

Not worried at all...at the moment.
BA to Douglas - and then there is the BBC 4 documentary - or, even worse, Channel 4 - 'Purple Prostate Polyps'

I'm not sure you completely understand the purpose of examination and diagnosis, nailit.

You can't do this stuff by the seat of you pants, as it were.

Not bothered whatsoever about having bodily bits been examined,
Had a testicle cyst removed before now and colonoscopy performed.
Just NOT looking forward to having air blown up my arris in order to
get a picture....

Thank for replies anyway guys,
Appreciate it.

Obviously not PP.
totally agree with tigger, I'm no fan of, er, rear vision apparatus myself, but being cleared of anything serious is well worth it.
It occurs to me that 'hindsight is a wonderful thing' has a new meaning. :-P
