It is mid term, and the Conservatives are doing badly, which is to be expected. The Opposition aren’t up to much, so all their errors are self inflicted. Arrogance and incompetence prevail. Johnson appears to have a very weak team, not sure if that is because he sees bright people as a threat, or they just don’t get elected for the Conservative Party.
When we do eventually get to vote in 2024, I expect the former red wall constituencies in the north to revert back to Labour. In the country overall the Conservatives will lose seats, but probably get enough to form a Government will a low majority.
They might fair better with a change of leadership and direction. Reverting back to core conservatives values might make a difference.
