Poo Eating Puppy

My 5 month old Cocker Spaniel eats poo, hers her 20 month old sisters …also a Cocker, we have tried lots of suggestions , Mustard powder on it ….she liked that. Hot Chilli powder gave her diarrhoea for two days, we are reduced to following them around the garden pooper scoop at the ready but she is very quick and it’s difficult at night.
I hate having to push her away when she comes for a cuddle but we don’t want her licking us with a poorly tongue and upsets her.
Please can anyone suggest a remedy, the vet just shrugged and said some dogs do but in all my years of raising Cockers I’ve never had this problem before.
Grateful for any advice / solution.

is your pup only eating their own poo? If so try some pineapple in their food. Strange but it works. Some dogs are copraphaegic and most aren't. No explanation.
