In one sense I find the whole Partygate thing a bore, but after Labours continual attacks against number 10, & calls for Boris' resignation, I relish seeing the hypocrisy of the man exposed, & he must face the music & answer these questions.

And don't you just love that 'Line of Duty' photo ?

Boris was finedcto and rushing so not above the law . nicola forgot her mask at the hairdressers...not quite as bad as partying all day
Rishi not rushing!
// "Nonesense I say. If the law was broken punishment must follow" But not for Boris ...because he is above the law //

Pay attention, gully. Boris has been fined.
Someone was given a birthday cake, someone else forgot their mask, and someone else had something to eat at the end of a working day. Can you people really not see how ridiculously childish all this is?
Peter @ 10.00 I did not say it. I was quoting from Khandros post @ 09.17...Pay attention.

PP; //the law process is a pathway - commission of act, investigation decision to prosecute ( CPS) ,//
The CPS decides if there MIGHT be case to be answered based on the evidence put before it to go before a court, it doesn't pass any judgement beyond that. In this case there is clear photographic evidence that it is reasonable to suggest that the law (regardless of whoever passed that law) has been broken.
Boris was present at his place of work (which is also his home of course) whereas Captain Hindsight was not at his own place of work at a time when people had been instructed to work from home. Why was he in Durham anyway? Was it crucial for him to be in an office so far from his own workplace?
Boris was present at his place of work (which is also his home of course)

Strange that, I thought he lived next door at No 11.
"10 Downing Street is the official residence and the office of the British Prime Minister. The office helps the Prime Minister to establish and deliver the government’s overall strategy and policy priorities, and to communicate the government’s policies to Parliament, the public and international audiences." I believe his flat is above no. 11 - but that is just a tad closer than Durham is to Holborn.

Tonyav; //Strange that, I thought he lived next door at No 11.//

There are two front doors with 10 & 11 numbers screwed to each one, but they "broke through" internally, long ago.

Apart from the trad. pic. of the chancellor leaving from 'no. 11' with the red, budget briefcase, you never seem to see much activity around that doorway.
