What A Day!!
3 Answers
OH had an appointment at Cheltenham hospital for a cataract op. We were going in my car so I could drive him. Unfortunately it wouldn't start. So we had to go in his car. We got there just in time at 1.00 pm. He went in for his op, I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours. He eventually came out with his bad eye all covered. He called into the loo on the way out. I can't drive his car as it's a big estate car and much too big for me. So he drove taking it very carefully. It took almost an hour to get home. When we got in he discovered he had left his medication for eye drops and his own glasses in the loo at the hospital. I rang hospital, they eventually found his bag. So we have to go back in the morning. He should have his first drops first thing in the morning so we have to go relatively early. Disasters follow us around!

I've had both my cataracts done and no way could I have been safe to drive. He will have lots of drops in his eyes prior to surgery making vision very blurred.
Hope he gets his drops sorted and the op is a success. Its wonderful to see better
