when is the best time to cut back a blossom tree or whats the best feed

As a general rule of thumb pruning is done after flowering or when the tree is dormant but this may be way off the mark, we really need to know what type of tree you have, to advise on pruning or the correct fertiliser to use.

The best time to prune a flowering tree is straight after flowering. The remaining tree will then form the basis for flower buds in the stem of twigs to flower the following season.

If you prune it in the winter - when the growing has ceased - you will cut off most of the parts that have flower buds on them and you'll end up with very little flowers the following season.

hello , thankyou, its jusat a cherry blossom tree, ot seems to have lost alot of bloom over the past few years, pink and white flowers are mainley in bloom, what feed do you recomend
