Jura, Phew. For a minute there I thought I had missed Sam Ryder. Sam Fender was good but to me it was very influenced by Coldplay. Sam Rider would never swear he's perfect. ;0))

Normally I wouldn't bother with Glastonbury but it was a sheer delight to see such a full programme of songs I knew and to see everyone there really enjoying themselves. Most of them were not even born when these songs came out. Great to see people nearer my age joining in with the singing.

80 years old and able to perform as he did was some achievement, well done to him. I felt no embarrassment at all.

Yet to watch the PM set but did spend a few hours catching up on some of the acts yesterday on iplayer and, imho, one of the best was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Old Bob's voice may not be as powerful as it once was but it is still worth listening to. Alison Krauss was her usual understated self and she also showed her prowess on the violin. Aided more than ably by some very good musicians, their rendition of When The Levee Breaks had the vast crowd - many of them youngsters - swaying in unison. All in all, 50 odd minutes well spent.

We have watched on I player over the last two evenings. We both thought it was absolutely brilliant. McCartney seemed to sail through it effortlessly. The ending, where everyone put in their two pennyworth, was outstanding.

No embarrassment felt at all. Just total enjoyment.

Watched the first 80 mins of the PM set. Speaking as someone who was never a Beatles fan - only ever bought Sgt Pepper's - nor could it be said that i am a PM fan - only ever bought Band On The Run album - i thought it was almost brilliant. Someone said that the guitarists were bad (or words to that effect) but i thought they were more than adequate. And the drummer was such a joy to watch - looked like he was having more fun than everybody else at Glastonbury.
Paul's voice is, understandably, much weaker nowadays, but i thought he managed perfectly well in the circumstances. Other than here on AB, i have yet to read a negative response to his set.
Will most likely watch the rest of it tonight, now that Sherwood has ended :-)

I can recommend Raising Sand cd with RP and AK. Came out in 2007 but I still listen to it. Tom Jones was excellent on the legends slot a few years ago.
