After Wakefield, 3 Tory MPs with small majorities in the north are in advanced talks with the Labour Party about defecting.

The story is in the Telegraph, behind a pay wall, so sorry no link.

Labour should not accept them, they will win the seats away. But more evidence that all is not well in the Conservative Party.

I suspect in 2019 they voted neither for the candidate nor the party.
They voted for the policy - get Brexit done.
That is why there are Conservative MPs in solid Labour seats.
