The Twitter post from WhatTheTrans.com is fundamentally wrong - I suspect by design to whip up frenzied support.
"Sharron Davies is talking about how her being anti trans is making her bankrupt.
Nope.
You chose to make your full time job trying to ban trans people from sports."
Davies is not anti-trans and is not trying to ban trans people from sport.
What she is doing, and she's 100% correct to do so, is highlighting the unfairness on real women when they compete against men who have gone through puberty and obtained the physical benefits that come from that, but then transitioning and competing (cheating) against real women.
See Lea Thomas which shows the absurdity for what it is.
The Lionesses did wonderfully well last night playing against the Swedish women, but how would it be if instead they were hammered because Sweden fielded some men who were transitioning? Normal thinking people would agree it was unfair.
It is fundamentally to allow men who are transitioning/have transitioned to 'women' to compete against real women.
That is what Sharron Davies is fighting for - and she's correct to do so.
