and released horrific footage of some of the bodies. Why they would do this who knows other than the usual savagery, but the castration video I mentioned below got them some bad publicity.

I can't make sense of that, ich. If Russia attacked the prison, burning it down afterwards would surely serve to confirm culpability? Why would they do that rather than just lay the blame for the initial attack on Ukraine, as they have done?

I’m not sure I agree that it was done to cover up torture.
But the fact is, it happened (I think I we can safely say that now)
I agree it’s bizarre but the theory that these people were tortured and murdered by a regime (the DPR) with a long history of such brutality, is far and away the most likely. Aside from the apparent evidence alluded to
