Is there anywhere that tells the public how much money the government takes in in any fiscal year and where it is spent?

Thanks

HM Treasury's website will have the stuff you are looking for. They show details from 1970-71 fiscal year, as well as projected figures to the 2010-11 fiscal year.

I just can't get my head around to them taking 485 bn last year (2005-06), yet spending 525 bn. Wish I could borrow 39.9 bn just like that!
