Galaxy A40 Not Ringing

Going straight to Voicemail. Tried various things on web, but they don’t necessarily relate to the A40: somI can’t get it to work. Sound is on by the way. Doesn’t even ring, I have tried phoning from my landline. Thanks all.

Also check that you've not got 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Airplane Mode' enabled.

have you checked that the "do not disturb" button hasn't been selected?

Can you make calls? I had a problem a few weeks ago and it was a network problem.

Well after checking everything, I couldn’t get very far with anything after ‘Settings’…. Just about to give up.. so I switched off Wifi, Mobile Data on. Phone rang. Switched off Mobile Data, Wifi on again .. phone works!! I would love to know what the problem was. Fingers crossed now. Thanks all.

I have also noticed recently,while watching CatchUp, my BT crashed a couple of times. Wonder if there has been a problem with WiFi. Only problem I have had on my phone today was with calls, everything else was fine. Weird.

Well folks since my last posting…. The phone works sporadically, sometimes I have to use Mobile Data indoors for it to work, then I switch to Wifi indoors and it works …. Then it stops working again. Even on Mobile Data. It goes directly to Voicemail. I don’t want to go to Tesco and ‘young whippersnappers’ possibly fob me off with “It’s your WiFi” when I want Tesco to fix the problem…. Does anyone think it’s a Wifi problem or a fault with the phone? Thanks all, sorry for warbling on ..l
