Tell Me All About Your Air-Fryer
49 Answers
My wife thinks we should buy one, I'm not so sure.
It would be helpful to know:
The type - basket, paddle, or mini-oven shelf, something else
The meals that you cook in it regularly and how long each meal takes, approximately
The number of people you cook for
How easy it is to clean and use
The make
Are you pleased you bought it?
I know I'm asking a lot and I do appreciate your time

As well as using less fat they are cheaper to run than an oven.
I doubt it would be cheaper to cook bacon, though, as I wouldn't cook that in an oven. A few minutes under the grill or in a pan works for me

I can see the point of an air fryer from a health point of view which is how they were promoted originally. Cook a large batch of home made chips using only a spoon of oil. Much healthier than deep fat frying.
They weren't sold as a money saving device, taking around 40 minutes. Quicker and cheaper to use a chip pan, either on the hob or an electric one
