Vine Weevil

I have just discovered that I have vine weevil grubs in the plant pot containing my beautiful Heuchera Never had this problem ever Where did the bugs come from and how can I get rid of them? Thanks for any suggestions

Capture a pair and kill the smallest one!

Always go for the lesser of two weevils.

/Adult weevils feed at night, making holes and irregular notches in plant foliage. Although this is a nuisance, it doesn't harm the plant and is best tolerated. In fact, Heuchera foliage is not often attacked, probably due to the hairness of it./

I use a spray containing neem oil on anything suspicious (insects / diseases/unhappy looking leaves) in garden. Neem oil comes from India. You may need to gently heat it up by placing the bottle of it in a bucket of warm water. Then dilute it into a hand spray pump with a small amount of washing up liquid and cold water. See you tube for amounts/instructions.
