Good Morning Early Birds
95 Answers
morning, Wednesday midweek already, the days are going fast. I hope that you are all in good health and that you have a pleasant day. I am posting somewhat early as I can't get back to sleep, but might end up nodding off in a while, which is mostly down to the morphine.
Do you have anything planned for today? I have two friends dropping by later today, which is good. One probably around lunch time, and the other after work. Still struggling to walk, but it will get easier, at least i hope so.

First of all, I just want to say I'm pleased you've had the first of your operations and hopefully you will feel better soon.
I don't know if you remember but I am waiting for the first of my operations on my knee and I've been told it is likely to be Jan/Feb.
Were you told that knee operations are worse than hip operations so the two cannot be compared.
I know exactly how you feel as I am in a similar situation with osteo in both knees and rheumatoid in the rest of me and living on my own.
The only difference is I've had loads of help offered to me.
I have been given a chair to put in the shower and a trolley to put things on to wheel from one room to another.
I've been told that when I've had my op that a care plan will be put in place to help me with anything I need help with.
Hope you manage to get the help you need and just to let you know, I'm thinking of you. x
