As AB is more or less anonymous, as it should be I suppose, I often wonder when I "watch" The Chase on telly or listen to radio phone-ins, LBC, are any of these people ABers in real life? Ta Muchly!

He's the only member of AB whose real name I know - he posted a clip of one of the UC episodes he was on.

Just to mention another one on the telly, I was on "Top of the form". It was surprising really, as I only went to the grammar school concerned to do my "A" levels having spent my earlier years in a secondary modern.

Caused a bit of animosity at the time amongst my fellow pupils but it allowed me to make some valuable "contacts" as we used to call them, in quite a few oxbridge colleges so I don't regret it.

Nowadays, I get blank looks from undergraduates when I mention secondary modern schools as they expect me to have been educated in a HMC, comprehensive or grammar school.

Ah yes, Top Of The Form, I remember it well. I think an episode was recorded at my school, and for some strange, unknown reason I can summon up the theme tune at will - like now!
