Buying Bicycle From House Of Fraser

Went and bought bike from house of fraser and their bikes are sold by Evans Cycles. The sales person assured me that the bike will be delivered within 3 days if delivery to store. Now it is 20 days passed still no sign or no email notification of delivery. Went to store and saw the same sales person to ask for the bike last week. He said it will take 7 days. He doesn't seem to realize that it was 14 days when I went back to see him.
I also bought accessories for the bike which the store says they will fit them on when the bike arrive.
So who is my contract with? House of Fraser or Evans? The recipe is House of Fraser till issued.
Who do I complain to when bikes does not turn up because the bike is lost by Hermes.

HAlf a story really. When you say 'He said it will take 7 days. He doesn't seem to realize that it was 14 days when I went back to see him'
How did the rest of the conversation go? Any reassurances. Dis they make any calls to try to sort it out? Did you speak to (or ask to) his line manager?

I just found out that House of Fraser, Evans Cycles is all owned by Sports Direct. So they have awful customer service especially when you try and return things.
Anyway I managed to sorted it out now. I went back to the store earlier and got one of their display bike and they fitted to all the accessories to it. Rode home and all working fine. Just a very bad experience. I think the we root cause is that the Evans should not have used Hermes or Everi. I only found out when a friend mentioned that Evans were on BBC watchdog complains panel along with Everi last year.
Hope Evans use another professional outfit to deliver their bikes.

Evri/Hermes are a crock of sh/te, but big companies still use them which discredits them.
Nothing you can do really but wait unlike your order eventually turns up.
HofF and Evri will both asked for feedback on your buying experience, and it is then when you get let rip on the poor service you have received.

I had no idea that Hermes had changed its name to Evri, until recently when a couple of my on-line orders got stuck in their system. The estimated delivery date came and passed, and the parcel tracking part of their app showed my orders languishing in their depot for weeks and weeks.
Their website is abysmal. I tried to have a webchat with one of their bots that didn’t work, and tried to get the delivery moved to my workplace, which didn’t work either because of a failure on their web front end.
Just slaughter them if you get the opportunity to give feedback. And email the company you made your purchase with that you will be unlikely to use their website again as long as the delivery/courier service is so poor..

A bit of a run down on Mike Ashley owned businesses. Quite surprising:
