Morning Crew. I've been up half the night with a bad tummy (I blame the antibiotics). Only one transient coughing fit so far but luckily I have my chest x-ray on Thursday.

I'm hoping that Emmie is recovering well from surgery and will be fit enough to join us soon.

The countdown to Christmas Day begins. I think I'll breathe a sigh of relief when it's all over.

Have a great day everyone :-)

Thanks Bobbs. If they say they can't come out, I'll cancel my DD.:-)

Naomi, yes I have an electric fire in the living room which soon warms the room, and I put the oven on low when I go into the kitchen.
Just hope they can fix it because it's 17 yrs old and it's difficult to get cover after they turn 10 yrs.

Thanks lady J.

Oh dear, Barsel, how awful. I hope you get it sorted. :-(

Naomi - perhaps you have some generalised arthritis? Have you ever had any fractures in that region?
Barsel, thank goodness we have higher temperatures this week.

No breaks or fractures, LCG. It only hurts when I put my weight on it. Nothing at all if I’m sitting.
Question Author
It could be plantar fasciitis in that case or a ligamentous injury.

My PF spontaneously resolved.

Love to Emmie if she's looking in.
As I said I’ve had PF and I don’t think it’s that. A sports injury specialist sorted that for me so I may well hobble down the save path before long.
You need yoghurt LadyCG or one of those little live culture drinks. I promise it works to settle your tummy when on antibiotics. Two yoghurts per day is best it replaces the bacteria killed off by the meds.

Thanks Maydup, I agree the good cultures in Yogurt are a lifesaver.
