my female cat (spayed) is 9 years old and is bleeding slightly what might be wrong with her?

It could be cystitis. You need to take her to the vet.
I have never had this happen to any of my females cats I've had over the years, I think a visit to the vets is neede. Good Luck. X X X :-)
