My LG soundbar, model NB4540, regularly loses its depth of sound, as if the soundbar (not the Woofer) loses its bass. After a short time it returns back to normal. I changed the optical cable connecting it to the TV but that made no difference.
Before going out and looking at a replacement sound system I thought I try using my televisions (Samsung UE50H5500), ARC HDMI port.
When connecting the HDMI cable (high speed HDMI H cable, with ethernet) from the TV ARC port to the HDMI port on the soundbar I get no sound.
What am I possibly doing wrong? I have tried different settings on the TV and the sound bar with no success.
If it makes any difference we are on Sky through a Sky box, model ES130.
