First Day Back

Well it's all over now, bar the shouting.
I'm not a fan of Christmas but the few days off are much appreciated, although they seem to be gone in a blink. With the festivities over it's back to reality for most today, including myself.
At least I'm working from home today and it's an inset day too so I don't have to leave the house.
Who else is back to work today and are you feeling the post-festive blues?

I've arranged for a delivery of wood, which I shall have to unload later, booked the Devil's Daughters into the vets, set up their healthcare plan and am just sorting out their insurance. I need to sort out the house insurance so that is next job. I also need to order coal and oil. All the little admin tasks that take up a whole morning!
Morning chaps.
Arky, I've no idea when we're taking our tree and decs down. We've got rid of the Christmas Cards already as they were everywhere and making the place look rather untidy.
First day back has been a nightmare so far with one call after another... wouldn't it be a shame if I dropped my mobile in the sink...

Hopkirk - yes. We have open fires in 2 rooms - he likes to burn coal on his, I am content with wood on mine (the wood is free, we are burning some old barns that have been taken down and I just have to organise delivery). We work in those two rooms during the day, but we need oil to run the CH for hot water and heating the rest of the house. We do not have the CH on during the day, but have it on for an hour or so morning and evening so we can shower etc.
I reckon it's gin o clock now.
