Purely out of interest - I know fine not to click on links - but has anyone clicked and does it take you to genuine attempts to sell gummies, or is it simply malware?

Who knows, safer not to find out I suppose.
I'll let you know, the next time one pops up. Watch this space.
The links probably aren't directly trying to get anyone here to buy gummies. They're simply trying to get the websites that are selling them pushed higher up Google's rankings (because Google will see that the web is full of links to those sites and therefore assume that they're popular). That's why it doesn't matter to the spammers that their posts are in Russian or that they're linking to Australian or Dutch websites. As long as the links are appearing on the web, they'll get paid for putting them there.

I suspect that the actual businesses selling the gummies are a mix of total con merchants (who'll take your money and not send you anything) and those who'll send you some gummies that have got a CBD content so low as to be totally ineffectual.

I couldn't get anyone here to admit to accepting a spam offer when I asked a similar question here over 17 years ago!

I'm surprised no one responded to your thread at all Chris.
My OH's father fell for a telephone scam. It was a car magazine company trying to get him to sign up to advertise his vintage car that he had for sale. It wasn't even a targetted call, the guy just got lucky.

I'm not sure if I know of anyone that has fallen for spam links. Like you said, the ones on here are just to push up hits. No doubt it's all done automatically, without any or very little user input.
