Possible air lock

I think i have an air lock in my water pipes,i know that you can put a hose from the hot tap to the cold tap and turn both on.....but the trouble is i only have mixer taps in all rooms...any ideas guys / gals...thanks

Pull out your washing machine & take the cold feed blue hose off at the washing machine end then take off the hot red hose off at the pipe end, then put the blue cold feed onto the hot pipe fitting and open both valves up. If you dont have two washing machine valves then your going to have to do it by taking a mixer tap off and connect the two pipes together. Good luck Gasman.
