i had no idea that the allies kept the same laws in place which prevented these people from seeking help as victims of nazism.... shameful!!

as hostility toward trans people is on the rise in the modern day and trans women in particular are often portrayed as threatening and prefatory this seems like an important history to remember

Not sure which bit you mean tho. Maybe the bit which contradicts your statement that Transexual is a medical term

That's kind, zacs- thank you x and yes- I am aware that "transgender" is the "wokest" term right now. But- it isn't accurate, and isn't everywhere. This really does seem to be an online trend. I did try asking Untitled why he thought a phrase, was the same as Dysphoria, but no response.

What I would like to say- quite honestly- is that I do not give a monkeys whether I appear trendy, tolerant, unbigoted, untransphobic, woke or whatever else...
Believe it or not- my feelings come from not only obviously women's needs, but also, a little disgusted that we treat vulnerable transpeople, worse than animals.

i thought i had answered this pixie... it was the understanding i had come to based on what i had read... i.e. that the terms are different because they were coined in different eras....

I would suggest most people do know its actual meaning. And, I can't see how it is offensive?
