Our evening meal today will be mushroom stew with parsley dumplings.
I’ve never made it before, saw it on an advert for Tesco.
I’ve also never made or had dumplings before, the ones I’m using are Aunt Bessie’s frozen ones.
I’ve made the stew part so all it needs is heating through and the dumplings plopped on the top for 35 or so minutes when we’re ready to eat.
Anyone else having an experimental meal today??
Yes Pasta, I used to use my slow cooker a lot, the only problem being to remember early enough not to have to postpone eating until after midnight LOL.
Vagus - it's powder, and the packet claims it's a pea-based mince "High in Protein and Fibre without the addition of gluten, soya, flavour enhancers, preservatives, lactose. There is a full list of ingredients but in print too small for my eyes. It hails from a German company under the name Greenforce (hope that's not spam - pun unintended).
Thanks canary, something for me to consider.
I don’t know if you go to Costco, but I recently bought there a pack of Paramount vegan lentil onion and carrot burgers, they’re absolutely delicious, much better than some ‘pretend’ meat ones Ive previously bought.
mmm Bazile... pineapple pizza ... the taste of Waikiki ... the warm nights ... the bright shirts ... the women dancing the tamoure ... I could experiment like that all week
