My Poor Jay.

He's got a Ruptured Anal Gland. Very painful. He was walking with his dog walker early yesterday afternoon when she texted me reporting he did a black poo with a few spots of blood. I immediately got a vet appointment and when she got back she took him to the vet for me. Vet gave him a 2-week long antibiotic injection plus liquid Paracetamol for the pain. I blame myself as he has always refused to eat dog food but as he has Pancreatitis, chicken with veg along with the special hard food for Pancreatic mutts is what he gets. BUT he almost always chucks all the veg out.

Any suggestions PLEASE. xx

Had to have a giggle at that little dog's face. "Who are you looking at" he seems to be saying

Thanks Margo but I need one that covers his bottom completely or stops him reaching it. He's seen the vet again today and his wound is not healed so has to keep the cone on for at least 10 days until next vet appointment or pos longer.
