Family Tree
We had one of those family reminiscences today. I mentioned that my grandfather was born in 1880, the year the Forth Bridge was started, and my grandmother was born in 1890, the year it was opened. My grandfather was 67 when I was born, and lived to 93!
One of my uncles told me that my grandfather's uncle had died at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876.
He wasn't involved in the conflict, he was camping in the field next door and went to complain about the noise!
