Talktalk Tv Box

Im with Talktalk and was thinking of upgrading to this https://new.talktalk.co.uk/tv-fibre-broadband.Over 12 months thats £60.I was wondering if i was better off buying my own tv box- which i can keep with same features ? freesat /freeview or wifi enabled ?

If you've already got a 'smart' TV set (that connects to the internet) I can't see that you'd gain much at all by getting such a box. It simply seems to mimic what all smart TV sets already do anyway.

Have you got a smart TV? I can't see that the TalkTalk TV offers anything extra

If you've not got a smart TV, but you want all of the apps that the TalkTalk box offers (without paying any ongoing subscription), get an Amazon Fire TV stick or (currently cheaper) a Roku Express device:

(I'm assuming that you've got wi-fi in your home and that your TV set has an HDMI port, of course. You'd need those for the TalkTalk box anyway)

Thanks .I believe the Talk talk is wifi enabled, so doesn't need any cables(whereas my current older Talk Talk does) ? That aside, i assume i would probably need a powerline adapter aswell ?

If you have WiFi at home the suggestions Buenchico gave you will work simply by plugging in to your TV and connecting to your WiFi.
