Funnily enough, I never took to Lilly Savage and don't connect her to Paul! I'm no fan of drag at all. Never liked men dressing as women. Not prejudiced, just don't like it.

Lottie - I could have written that myself! I've never liked seeing men dressed as women either, especially drag acts &/or dames in pantomimes! To me, Paul O'Grady will always be a man with a big heart who cared for dogs/animals. ;o)

Smudge -Dame Edna, Danny la Rue, Hinge and Bracket and now Ru Paul's Drag Race - just make me cringe. Just don't find it entertaining at all. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I'm not fond of most drag acts but Lily was okay, and I always enjoyed the Two Ronnies skits of them dressed as women.

Danny La Rue made my skin crawl but all the women of that time seemed to love him

Barry, I think with the two Ronnies they weren't camping up sexual behaviour. I enjoyed Monty Python taking on female roles as well

I had no problem with the two Ronnie's, Lewis Dawson or Mrs Brown's Boys. They're completely different , as jno indicates. I just can't stand watching drag Queens.
