What Are Your Plans

For the Easter weekend?
Himself is on call all weekend so will be staying at home, dusting off the bbq and creating some lovely meals.
Also looking forward to getting into the garden and setting up my new raised bed and preparing the squash bed as I am trying growing vertically this year and other bits.

We’ll be travelling home on Friday.
On Saturday we’ll be visiting a garden centre or two to buy the necessary plants for the new flower bed we created, probably five roses and six clematis. I saw something called rainbow clematis which involves planting three different coloured ones together so they grow and intertwine. It looked quite nice so I want to try to do it.
On Sunday we’ll be planting what we’ve bought, hopefully.

That sounds lovely vagus, I used to have purple clematis years ago but it was late flowering.

I tried the intertwining clematis in my garden. One overtook the other two and it was not a success.

When I was working, Easter was my most favourite time. 4 days off and no commitments. We would spend time in the garden, go out for lunch, way the Masters on TV and relax.

Now I’m retired and can do that every week of the year, I’m volunteering on both Friday and Saturday as they will be busy days for visitors to the places I volunteer with. I can’t wait to be busy and exhausted!

Rh @ 19:43...oh no. There's either the automated cat feeder and cat camera...or cat sitter. Toby is stressed* enough with strange humans.
* maybe not stressed, but definitely shy. Though he creeps out of hiding occasionally...getting better.
