I'm interested that jourdain thinks education has failed these youngsters, as usual no mention of parents. Why is everything left up to schools? Some teachers are having to teach children how to clean their teeth, to toilet train them etc. They have enough to teach without that. Self care, manners, respect have nothing to do with not having any money and should start at home!
