My son bought a mobile phone costing over 200 pounds.However before he even used it he lost the charger which came with it on holiday.He says it is impossible to buy a charger specifically for the phone without buying a new phone.Is this true? It just seems such a waste of an expensive new phone.

I left my original/branded charger for my Sony Ericsson in a hotel room, when I enquired about buying an original replacement from one of the usual high street shops the price was rediculous, so I opted for a generic non-branded replacement at a considerable reduction. Argos sell a multi-adaptor mains charger (compatible with most Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola phones) for �9.99 !
