My son bought a mobile phone costing over 200 pounds. However before he even used it he lost the charger which came with it on holiday. He says it is impossible to buy a charger specifically for the phone without buying a new phone. Is this true? It just seems such a waste of an expensive new phone.

you can get a charger from most phone shops, especially if it's a new phone depends what make it is...some phones like samsung, have the same charger for alot of different phones...failing that you'll definatley get one on eBay

Well that was quick! Thanks for that that was very useful. It is nokia 3 whatever that means(I am getting old and mobiles confuse me)
It's usually a lot cheaper to buy a non-branded charger too. I left my original/branded charger for my Sony Ericsson in a hotel room, when I enquired about buying an original replacement from one of the usual high street shops the price was rediculous, so I opted for a generic non-branded replacement at a considerable reduction. Argos sell a multi-adaptor mains charger (compatible with most Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola phones) for 9.99 !
