If the answer is what I think it is, the letter A is superfluously clued, isn't it? (C)HEATER: so why does it need to catch "a"?

If anyone was wondering, Bob Marley's Catch A Fire was released 50 years ago and the puzzle is sprinkled with references to it. Completed the whole grid before it dawned on me thanks to L-i-K!
