Men’s Attention To Female Bodies

This might seem an odd and maybe inappropriate question but it is just a fact of life that men like to admire women’s bodies .. if they are at the beach, wearing shorts/strappy tops/figure hugging clothes etc

I was having a conversation with someone they weee discussing the above. I thought I would just ask on here.. what age does a woman get to before men generally will stop admiring her figure? Assuming she maintains a similar body fat level throughout her life

It was that post which prompted me to say 'judgmental'.
I'm not accusing you of anything; it's not unusual for people to feel like you did. I suppose I'm so old that I am a bit 'live and let live and try not to be shocked at human nature'.

The words trust and respect have not appeared in these responses
I think they are key to how you might regard women as they and men age. The way I thought about this when I was 20 to 40 is quite different to how I view it now. O H and I have grown old together, I still admire her with all the wrinkles, because I trust her judgement and respect her for what she is now. Even tho I know she thinks I am a barmy old duffer!

I spend part of the year in France, and it has always struck me that the social behaviour over there (in a country village) shows much respect for women. There's not much tendency for the men to group at one end of the room and the women at the other. It's always Monsieur'Dame, and the bisous (cheek kisses) bring everyone together on a footing of equal respect and acknowledgement of one's presence.

Of course, it might be like that in English villages nowadays; I haven't any experience of that.

Whether it is so in English villages is surely about how well you know someone. Trust and respect comes from knowledge of that person. In todays society people may not even know their neighbours well. They probably know exactly what happened yesterday on some soap or other, and what the latest internet influencer had for breakfast

Of course knowledge of a person can work the other way as well, no need to point that out to me
