That Marwan Koukash? news came as a surprise to me. One (I) would think that once you reach a certain financial level it's hard to 'go backwards'. I was wondering where his runners were at Chester.
I know you and Togo used to follow his runners a bit. Ah well, perhaps he'll return at some level when all his problems are settled.
In other news. I see old Retro is back, hurrah. ;-)

Nice to see you back too Spike. Koukash was declared bankrupt in Oct. 2022 and is not discharged until Oct 2023. It seems that all his horses are running in the colours of "previous owners". Lockdown was not a good time to own hotels and a Rugby club. He had 2 of "his horses" running yesterday ... both bombed.
Hi there Spicey. Must admit, despite noticing the absence of Koukash's usual army of runners at the Boodles Festival, i didn't bother to research into the reason behind it. Bit of a shocker, really, not to be seeing those grey silks anymore.
Togo is definitely more 'into' the Koukash horses than me, but i doubt the news will prevent either of us punting on them, particularly at Chester, if we think they have a chance.
